ABOUT THE RADIO STATION
Radio Continental commenced test transmission on the 102.3FM frequency in the year 2005 under the name Link FM. At its take off, the Station serviced a classified audience within the Entertainment circuit.
After the first ten months of launch, the station rode with another brand name, UNITY 102.3FM. Its focus remained General Entertainment with bias for News and Sports.
When the platform adopted a conversational philosophy, it metamorphosed into “RadioContinental 102.3FM”, with a focus for everything African under the parent name, Continental Broadcasting Service (CBS), owning and operating TVC-E (for Entertainment) and TVC News (a pan-African cable news channel), Adaba FM, Akure and Unique FM, Ilesha as well and parading an array of seasoned broadcasters.
Radio Continental 102.3FM is authoritatively Nigeria’s number one conversational Station, with complete audience interactivity through its choice programmes. The Station is Nigeria’s foremost independent Talk Station. News, Current Affairs, Features, Documentaries, Sports, or Music, the conversation never ends’
