Nigerian Reggae-dancehall artiste, Burna Boy, submitted 5 songs to Drake for the Canadian rapper’s More Life project, Pulse NG reports. The relationship however was believed to have reached a sad end when the singer made an announcement on social media confirming the end of their partnership.It was assumed that the singer fired his then manager and observers did not expect the singer to end his relationship with Kamal in such manner, especially because of the latter’s revered status in the entertainment industry. In an exclusive chat with Sunday Scoop, Kamal debunked the assumption that he was fired via social media. He said; “Davido didn’t give me the sack via social media. He was in Gabon when he wrote ‘I am now my own manager’ on Snapchat. Funnily, I was the one who drove him to the airport. Before then, we had had conversations about moving forward and I realised that what he wanted was different from mine. I wanted something bigger for him, but he was comfortable with what he wanted to do.”
