The panel comprised of top professionals in the music industry including Ehiz, Dami Elebe of Beat FM, N6 of CoolFM, Joey Akan of Pulse NG, DJ Obi, Gbemi of Beat FM, Tosin Adeda, Mr Eze and CEO of Aloteda Blogzine, Adetola Adekoya aka Omobaswagz. After intense deliberations and analysis were made, the panel settled for a list of 20 hottest Nigerian tracks. The hottest Naija songs according to the MTV Base panel includes:

Nigeria’s favourite cross-dressing comedy characters, Sister Nkechi and James (Ogbolor) joined Mama Tobi on stage for a night of undiluted entertainment at the homecoming edition of the US-based Nigerian social media sensation.

Dressed in his signature ragged wedding-gown, Sister Nkechi, the character made popular by Ani Chinedu Michael (Nedu) of Wazobia FM added extra doses of humour alongside the scarf-wearing, James (Michael Uba), the popular effeminate character of the Jenifa’s Diary fame.

They combined with an array of popular social media comedians and entertainers to deliver a night of comedy, drama and music at Hard Rock Café, Oniru, Lagos that the audience will not forget in a hurry.

The stage which was beautifully lit as pictures of some of Adekunle Gold’s graphic designs and music videos were displayed on the screens gave an Africanized Broadway feel and which also portrayed the careful event planning of ONSWAG by the team effort of experienced experts in events & project planning focused on delivering excellent experiences to concert goers, performers, and other stakeholders.

One Night Stand With Adekunle Gold hosted by Do2dtun kicked off with a sonorous rendition by Myoa with Teni and Fumbi preparing the energy of fans for Adekunle Gold’s performance. The audience could almost touch and feel the excitement when Adekunle Gold stepped onstage in a black sequin jacket, crowned with his signature golden cap. He gave a mesmerizing performance of Orente backed up by the eccentric display and dramatization from the dancers. No one could get enough of the Beautiful Night as Adekunle Gold and the 79th Element brought the 1970’s vibe to the stage with the dancers in their old school outfits putting in the Work while portraying various professions.
