Davido – Pop star’s cutest moments with daughter Imade
In May, 2016 Nigerian pop star Davido welcomed a baby daughter Imade Adeleke with Sophia Momodu who he briefly dated in 2014.
After initially denying that he was going to be a father, Davido happily announced that he had a baby girl. The HKN singer shared photos of his cute daughter to his fans on his social media accounts.
Despite his busy schedule Davido always made sure he showered his little girl with enough attention and gifts. It was quite easy to see that he was the apple of her eye.
Controversy and drama will come in December 2015 and January 2016 when his baby mama Sophie Momodu and her uncle the famous media mogul Chief Dele Momodu accused Davido and his family the Adelekes of kidnapping Imade and taking her out of the country without their approval.
Sophie Momodu also claimed that she had not been allowed to see her daughter for months after Imade was taken away from her and given to Davido’s sister.
Dele Momodu shared photos of Davido at the airport as he supposedly tried to fly away with Imade without Sophie’s consent.
This created a storm that would last weeks between the Momodus and Adelekes. Davido and his family defended their actions by claiming that Sophie Momodu was an unfit mother who smoked marijuana in the presence of Imade thereby affecting her health.
Davido also claimed that Sophie wanted an increase in her monthly allowance. The mudslinging dragged on for a while until both parties signed a peace agreement.

* January 5, 2016 – Davido leaves his sick bed to play with his daughter. The pop star is stressed out from the ongoing baby mama drama.
