Burna Boy thrilled a select few press and media, his close friends and family to an exclusive first listen of his forthcoming album “Outside” in a private listening party at WéRé House in Lekki, Lagos. The album is set to be released on all digital music platforms on the 26th of January under Atlantic Records. Douglas Jekan of The Beat FM was charged with the host’s duties as he led a cheerful Burna Boy through a series of questions about the album. Burna Boy said every song on the album was inspired by something in his life, revealing ‘Where I’m from’ as his favorite and most personal song. He explained how a trip to Port Harcourt led to ‘City Vibration’ and recounted his experience with Drake that led to ‘More Life’, the album’s opener.

Lagos experienced a magical One Night Stand With Adekunle Gold at the Balmoral, Federal Palace Hotel, Lagos on the 26th of December 2017. Organized and powered by Bavent Street Live, the concert follows-up successful editions held at the 02 Academy in London and Button Factory in Dublin.

The audience could almost touch and feel the excitement when Adekunle Gold stepped onstage in a black sequin jacket, crowned with his signature golden cap. He gave a mesmerizing performance of Orente backed up by the eccentric display and dramatization from the dancers. No one could get enough of the Beautiful Night as Adekunle Gold and the 79^th Element brought the 1970’s vibe to the stage with the dancers in their old school outfits putting in the Work while portraying various professions.

A happy Davido isnt looking at recent criticism that trailed his just concluded concert, 30 Billion Concert. Davido has however took to Twitter to share the news that the concert had over 10,000 people in attendance. The event which was held in the popular Eko Hotel, was described by the singer as historic.

Popular OAP, Toolz shared her perspective on the recently concluded 30 billion concert among-st other criticism, on Twitter. Ahead of the “30 Billion World Tour” which is scheduled to hold at the Eko Hotels Convention Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos; Davido paid a visit to Governor Akinwunmi Ambode. The singer share his picture with the governor on Instagram. In the post he referred to the governor as “my governor” and he added that the 30 billion world tour is “gonna be a movie!!”

2017 has seen great turn-over for the Nigerian and African music in general. With many of the continent superstars making her proud; Nominations and awards are been carted away by this non relenting individuals.
