Pop Star DAVIDO Under Fire As Fans Gives Hilarious Responses on Failed Promise

After promising and failing to redeem his promise, Twitter users have attacked Nigerian singer and fellow boss of HKN, David Adeleke, who promised a young man, David Adeleke, three weeks ago, to support him financially after being admitted into Yale for a media workshop, but apparently, hasn’t fulfilled the promise which is already past deadline.

Davido had seen the post on twitter where his name sake had created a Gofundme campaign, asking people to help fund his fees.

Well, OBO saw it and promised. Everyone applauded his good “deed” singing his praises for stepping up to assist. This promise put the mind of a lot of people at ease as they believed Omo Baba Olowo will spread his wealth to his name sake.

Fast track to the third week after Davido made his promise, someone on twitter decided to call him out for not fulfilling the promise, saying that’s his way of getting good publicity but afterwards he rarely or doesn’t fulfill it. According to the twitter handler, Osarumen Osamuyi, Davido hasn’t fulfilled his promise after three weeks, which is not a good thing considering the needed fund has a deadline.

Now on getting this info on twitter, Davido who responded to the guy on twitter, tweeted that he has already “wire”d the money via “international transfer” and the young man won’t receive the money until on Monday, 29th of May… he went further to say the debt reminder won’t “understand” as it is an “international transfer”.

This response got twitter hot as they believe it is not proper for Davido to not only delay his promise, but to also not be sorry about it. We got some funny responses amongst the bunch of people who responded that we would’ Like to share with youthat we would like you, which also shows how disappointed some of these fans are of Davido.

Now what is wrong about the date for the young man to supposedly receive the money is that on the 29th of May is a public holiday both in Nigeria and America.
